Early life
Qaasim Middleton was born in New York City, New York. He is the son of actor/musician Keith Middleton, who appeared on STOMP and actor/singer-songwriter Toni Seawright, the first African American Miss Mississippi and the fourth runner-up in Miss America. He graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.
Career
Middleton is the guitarist for The Naked Brothers Band. He is the current member of the band and he replaces Cole Hawkins and Joshua Kaye as lead guitarist. It's revealed in the program that Jimi Hendrix has influenced him greatly. He was also on HBO's The Music in Me, where he appeared as a percussionist.
