Anthony Holden, the first biographer for Prince Charles at the time, has died at the age of 76. Holden was a brilliant journalist whose articles on the Royal Family appeared in the Mail and who was the author of more than 40 books. Laurence Olivier's biographies, Tchaikovsky's, and Shakespeare's were among his publications. As well as several books on poker, he has published translations of opera, ancient Greek plays, and poetry. These included bestseller Big Deal, which was about his year as a professional poker player.

The film, made by a production company called Signal, depicts a child's same-sex parents' exchange for one of a mother and father, as well as giving the boy a football, toy cars, and a drum kit. The video feeds into Russian views of Europe and the US, which have been fuelled by pro-Kremlin propagandists during the war in Ukraine, in order to frame the conflict as a contest of values between Russia and Ukraine's western allies. The clip has been circulating on Russian social media since it was announced, giving the Russian leader a propaganda boon as it shamefully revealed China's Xi Jinping demanded a written explanation from Putin on when he plans to end his war in Ukraine and as his war enters its 300th day.
