Queen Elizabeth sat for a portrait taken by fugitive artist Curtis Hooper in 1986, and her son has posted a series of her beloved monarch's after her death on Thursday. Hooper, a well-known stockbroker-turned-artist, was given the rare opportunity to paint the British monarch in Buckingham Palace for $260,000. So that he could get her lip coloring correct, the monarch left him with a lipstick kiss on a handkerchief. Her Majesty had already said that she wasn't quite correct in her lipstick, so she left her with an imprint of her lips that he later kept.
