Peter Polansky (p.LAN-skee) is a professional tennis player of Czech descent. Born June 15, 1988) is a Czech national tennis player of Czech origin.

In the ATP rankings, he was Canada's top singles player from June 21, 2010 to January 17, 2011.

He was also Canada's No. 1. With the exception of one week, two from August 4, 2008 to June 21, 2010.

He became the first person in the Open Era to qualify for all four Grand Slam tournaments as a lucky loser in the same calendar year.

In June 2004, Polansky competed in Canada's F3, F4, and F5 Futures, compiling a record of 1–4. In the 2005 Granby Challenger event, he next competed in a wild card, losing handily in the first round. He then appeared in F1, F2, and F3, the late fall, his third appearance in the ATP singles rankings, No. 1. It was 1432. He also reached the final of the Canadian F3 doubles, teaming compatriot Adil Shamasdin.

In 2006, Polansky went 4-3 for Canada F1, F2, and F3, this time playing in March and saw his number #1 crack the top 1000. He lost in the first round at Granby to compatriot Frank Dancevic, who also lost for his first full-fledge ATP tourney, a Masters tournament at that, as he lost in the first round to compatriot Frank Dancevic at the 2006 Rogers Cup. Polansky then progressed to the finals of the US Open boys singles tournament as an unseeded Special Entry. Peter began 2007 with a bang after winning three of four Futures in Central America in January: El Salvador F1, Guatemala F1, and Costa Rica F1. In the first round of the Zenith Tennis Cup on red clay in Milan, Polansky advanced to Simone Vagnozzi with a convincing victory. He followed this by reaching the quarterfinals of the Lines Trophy, defeating Nicolás Massa in the second round before losing in straight sets to veteran Jean-René Lisnard. Polanksy was not keen to enter Wimbledon qualifying or was not eligible, which was rather surprising. Rather, he qualified for the Sporting Challenger, which is also in Italy, and lost in the final qualifying round. In the first round of qualifying for the Delray Beach ATP 250 tournament, Polanksy lost in straight sets to fifth seed Paul Capdeville in the first round. Polansky began his 2017 season in Happy Valley, Australia, by reaching the quarterfinals before losing to Omar Jasika, who lost in the final. Polansky struggled from the start of February to June, with 2-9 in challenger matches, 5–8 in qualifying matches, and 0–1 in ATP matches. Polansky qualified for Memphis but lost in three sets to Matthew Ebden. He lost in the second round of qualifying to Alexander Bublik in the second round of qualifying and lost in five sets to Stefano Travaglia in five sets after leading two sets to one at his seventh appearance at Wimbledon.

Polansky returned to Canada to compete in the Canadian summer circuit, including challengers in Winnipeg, Gatineau, and Granby in July, and he was defending a lot of points from 2016. Polansky lost in the final of all three challengers, losing to Bla Kavi twice and Denis Shapovalov.
