Four neighbors complain about revellers, sparking a ruckus as George Orwell's "perfect bar" closes

Four families in Islington, north London, have expressed annoyance with the boozer's being a public nuisance, a danger to health, because it is poorly maintained, and licensees have no interest in interacting. This has resulted in the Complicit Arms' licence being reviewed by Islington Council, who wrote about George Orwell's 1964 essay 'The Moon Under Water,' in which he referred to his perfect bar. Orwell (pictured right) set out ten points for the opulent pub, Victorian decor, barmaids knowing the customers by name, and a snack counter. Furious punters raged against the nimby neighbors on the internet, fiercely defending the 'excellent' staff and leadership of the 'class' bar.
