Peter Breiner (born July 3, 1957, in Humenné, former Czechoslovakia, present day Slovakia) is a Slovak pianist, conductor, and composer. At the age of four, Breiner began to play and study the piano. * He began studying at the Conservatory in Koice, Slovakia, at age nine (where he studied piano, percussion, composition, and conducting). * He then moved to Bratislava, Slovakia, where he continued his composition studies under Alexander Moyzes' tutelage; he graduated from the Academy in 1982. Breiner has released more than 150 albums as a conductor or pianist. He is well-known for his arrangements, including Baroque versions of the Beatles and a very similar recreation of Elvis Presley, as well as arrangements of popular Christmas songs. According to the Chicago Tribune, Breiner's 2004 release of all the world's national anthems was used by the Athens Olympic Committee as the background for the medal ceremonies at the Games. * "Do You Have Something Against That?"
