Brenden Aaronson, a midfielder for Leeds United, is expected to leave the West Yorkshire club and join the Bundesliga team 1. According to various outlets, FC Union Berlin is on loan. Aaronson, who joined the Whites last summer, will return to play top flight football in the same league as his brother, Paxten Aaronson of Eintracht Frankfurt. After finishing fourth in the Bundesliga, Union Berlin will be playing in the Champions League next season.

Timmy Tillman, a Los Angeles FC midfielder, has had his one-time 'change of affiliation' approved by FIFA, allowing him to represent the USMNT. Tillman is a dual citizen of both Germany and the United States, but he does need FIFA permission to represent the USA at senior level due to the fact that he had previously represented Germany in youth tournaments. He will now only be able to represent the United States for the remainder of his career as he goes forward.
