Life
Pavel Golia was born in Trebnje's affluent family. He served as an officer in the Austro-Hungarian Army from 1907 to 1915. He was a journalist in Moscow in 1918. He served in Ljubljana (1920–46, with a two-year break), Osijek and Belgrade later. He died in Ljubljana.
