Emmerdale's newcomer Ella Forster (played by former Coronation Street star Paula Lane) has already found herself in the centre of the village's drama.  The surgery receptionist was branded a scumbag as a dramatic bust up broke out during a funeral.  The service was for a character named June Phillips, who is yet to be introduced to the show, and Ella appeared before her grave to pay her respects.

Paula Lane, the former Coronation Street actress, made her Emmerdale debut when she arrived in the Yorkshire dales on Tuesday evening.
