Employees of Goldman Sachs are furious over 'influencer' bankers, who were favoured by DJ-ing CEO David Solomon

As his company prepares for layoffs, Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon, who moonlights as a DJ, is apparently playing favorites at his job and has a soft spot for flashy 'influencer' bankers. Kim Posnett, a young banker who has risen through Goldman Sachs' ranks in recent years and now serves as the Global Head of Investment Banking Services for the organization, is one such banker. Despite being part of an investment team that saw a significant decline in returns during the second quarter and making 41 percent less than the same quarter last year, Posnett has become a favorite at the bank. She has appeared at galas and panels often, and she was most recently seen at the US Open, where she watched a semifinals match with 'clients and Goldman Sachs colleagues.' The layoffs at Goldman Sachs, which may happen as soon as next week, come as executives at the firm attempt to reel in some of the company's lavish perks.
