On March 20, Ryan Joseph Ralph, 24, boarded the overnight train with Shona Morgan, 22, from Bangkok to the famous Koh Tao island in the south. Shona sleeping when he went for a cigarette at the end of the carriage, where many trains have no doors or barriers. A second photograph depicts an elderly man walking his dog in front of Dunston Power Station in Newcastle, as rows of uniform workers' housing blocks are also visible. On the steps of the Albert Memorial in Kensington Gardens, London, a third photograph shows Salvation Army women picnicking in front of the Asia sculpture group. The photographs, many of which have never been seen before, were taken for a magazine issue called Manplan. Its aim was to investigate the state of urban planning and architecture in the United Kingdom at the time. From September 1969, eight special magazine issues have been published for a year.

Patrick Ward, 45, was identified as a New Zealand native but he is also an Irish national. Mr Ward is reported to have leaned out of the huming railway train to capture holiday snaps of his travels. He was trying to take a selfie before he crashed, according to local media. Mr Ward was captured falling from the train by a tourist in the area (pictured) and later discovered him falling from the train. As he fell from the carriage to his back, footage captured the Irish national.

The raid took place just weeks after a trio of women dressed in denim-clad hotpants reportedly took hundreds of Lego boxes worth hundreds of pounds from a store in Broadstairs, Kent. Officers probing the latest robbery, which took place on the evening of October 5, have released CCTV photos of the three perpetrators. The three suspects were photographed outside the Smyths (left), with another set showing a man and a woman carrying two huge boxes of Lego out of the store (pictured right).
