Chantelle Jackson, 37, and her 34-year-old partner Joshua Harrison (pictured on left) were arrested in a drug raid on the family's home in Poynton, Cheshire, just north of the Peak District. Both Jackson and Harrison pleaded guilty to being worried about class A and class B drugs between September 4, 2022 and 2023 at Chester Crown Court. After hearing that Jackson was'scared to please' her boyfriend due to domestic violence, sentencing judge Patrick Thompson said she had been behaving as a "secretary" to Harrison.

Sebastiano Gjoni, 23, and Skelidano Koliqi, 26, (pictured together right) were arrested after being caught on a freezing rain in the village of Alderley Edge in Cheshire's 'footballer belt' in January this year. After hearing noises emanating from downstairs at 8 p.m., police were alerted of the raid. 999 was dispatched by the property's inhabitants. The victims yelled "robbers, Robbers" and yelled in their beds before police arrived 13 minutes later and discovered the defendants in a freezing ditch. According to a court, Gjoni (pictured below inset) and Koliqi (pictured left and top inset) had sneaked into the UK illegally in the hopes of finding work, but after being arrested by police, the 23-year-old said, 'I'm glad we were captured.' It's freezing here. We have nowhere to go.'
