Boris Becker takes court action to avoid a 'humiliating' screening in Germany

www.dailymail.co.uk, November 16, 2022
Boris Becker, a two-and-a-half year prison term in Oxfordshire, sent a lawyer to Germany to inform a court that the video involving Becker and comedian Oliver Pocher should not be broadcast or deleted from the internet. At a alleged fashion award ceremony (inset) organised by Pocher, Becker accepted a fake trophy containing bank notes in the video. In October 2020, Pocher's television show 'Pocher: Dangerously Honest' will be broadcast. However, the Offenburg District Court in southern Germany rejected Becker's injunction request, finding that his personal rights would not have been violated by Pocher screening the video, according to a spokesperson for German news service DPA. Becker can appeal the decision. Pocher invited Becker to 'Alle on den Kleinen' in 2013, where he had to complete tasks and compete against the host. With the tagline 'Make Boris Rich Again', Pocher mocked Becker by raising €541.11 (£474) in donations for the tennis star. Becker refused to accept the funds, and Pocher invited the tennis actress to a bogus fashion award presentation, which the comedian captured, and then secretly put the money into the award.
