Kwame Nsiah-Apau (born 17 April 1976), also known as 'Kyeame Kwame' and referred to as Dr. Kittyeame Kwame, is a Ghanaian singer, composer, and entrepreneur.

Kwame is a student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, where he studied Akan and Sociology for his first degree in music under the tutelage of Dr. Daniel Amponsah a.k.a. Agya Koo Nimo is a fictional character from the movie Agya Koo Nimo. Agya Koo Nimo taught him Classical Guitar and Philosophy in African Music. He enrolled at the University of Ghana and graduated with a master's degree in Strategic Marketing in 2016.
He is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana in recognition of his work in creative arts.
He rose to fame in 1997 as a member of the "Akyeame" hiplife pair, as well as fellow Ghanaian Daniel Kofi Amoateng (under the stage name Okyeame Kofi). They performed together "Nyansapo" ("Witty Knot") ("Shackles"), "Nkonsonkonson") ("Nkonson"), "Ntoaso" ("Continuity"), "Mugo" ("Nikonson"), "Ntoaso"), and "Apam Foforo") ("New Testament") ("New Testament"), 1998). Since being apart in 2004, he performed in Accra solo under his own name One Mic Entertainment. Daddy Lumba, Kojo Antwi, and Ofori Amponsah were among the notable Ghanaian highlife and hiplife artists on the show.
Okyeame Kwame sparked a controversy with fellow Ghanaian rapper Obrafour, who saw himself as deserving, after announcing himself B.R.A. (Best Rapper Alive) in a song he recorded after winning the Ghana Music Awards Artist of the Year award in 2009. This culminated in one of Ghana's most memorable feuds, with Obrafour battling Okyeame Kwame in a rap war on the streets that was never honoured. Okyeame Kwame said he turned down Obrafour's challenge because there was no need for it at the time, and winning Artist of the Year was vindicative enough.
Okyeame Kwame has contributed to education and scholarship, with his rap songs (which incorporate didactic themes, social consciousness, and poetry) being studied in various Ghanaian universities. Yeeko ft Ghana's very own highlife artist Kuami Eugene debuted a song titled Yeeko ft.

Kwame has been married to Annica Nsiah-Apau since 2009, and the two children, Sir Kwame Bota and Sante Antwiwaa, are together. His two younger brothers are also rappers, Performing the stage names Flowing Stone and Kunta Kinte. Bradez is collectively known as Bradez.
Life and career
Apau was born in Kumasi, Ghana's Ashanti Region. He is the third of six siblings. Kwaku Nsiah Boamah's nicknamed "Flowing Stone" and Kwaku Nsiah Amankwah's nicknamed "Kunta Kinte" and sold as a pair under the brand name "Bradez." Kwame's parents expected him to become a surgeon, but he took an interest in rap music at a young age when he wrote his own songs and appeared at local shows since his days at Kumasi's Anglican Senior High School.
