Jarrell Miller tipped the scales at an astonishing 333 pounds as he prepares to face former WBA world champion Lucas Browne on Saturday. The monstrous figure is a career high for the American, making him heavier than any heavyweight champion in boxing history based on their championship weight, including 7ft former David Haye opponents Nikolai Valuev. Miller's first appearance in 2023 and third since returning from a long absence from the sport after a failed drug test in 2019.

After being drafted to fight in Ukraine, Russian boxing champion Nikolai Valuev is rushed to the hospital

Nikolai Valuev (pictured during his boxing days right), 49, now a pro-Putin politician, was admitted to a Moscow hospital late Thursday after complaining of leg pains, according to Russian media. Valery Kuzenkov, the government's spokesman, released a bizarre denial, claiming that "no one broke [Nikolai's] legs" and that he is 'alive and well" at home. Valuev penned a note on Telegram, as well as a picture of himself (left), stating that "everything is fine" and that he would be on television commenting on boxing on Friday without denying that he was in hospital. Valuev revealed he had been sent to fight in Ukraine just weeks after Valuev revealed that he had been drafted to combat in the war. In 2010, he was forced to stop boxing due to a brain tumor.

Sebastian Fundora, 6 foot-6, is the subject of the boxing world's biggest paradox: a junior middleweight champion

www.dailymail.co.uk, October 6, 2022
Sebastian Fundora, a 6-foot-6 junior middleweight, has enraged younger opponents at the 154-pound mark and will face 5-foot-10 Carlos Ocampo on Showtime on Saturday, putting his undefeated record on the line. Fundora's long, sinewy frame has pushed some of his opponents into a slew of vicious battles, with some people avoiding his overwhelming reach, though his body and head remain well out of range. Nikolai Valuev, a seven-foot former heavyweight, had a slim height advantage over his opponents, but the 24-year-old Fundora is anything but heavy. Fondora is 'just' 6-foot-6,' a tall structure that is certainly not unprecedented in some corners, but not so uncommon in others. Fundora fights at the 154-pound weight limit, which is unusual, and this is why he towers over opponents. In fact, he may even drop to 147 pounds (147 pounds) if he wanted, which he doesn't. Sebastian 'The Towering Inferno' Fundora isn't a big fighter who bled himself down to 154, but rather, he's a natural junior middleweight with a longer reach than George Foreman. 'Fundora [is] a cheat code,' WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford tweeted in April after winning by TKO over Erickson Lubin for the WBC interim super welterweight championship.'

Nikolai Valuev, the former world heavyweight champion, has been called up to the Vladimir Putin's Russian army

Valuev, a two-time WBA champion, was the world champion with the longest neck and weighed in excess of 23 stone in his fighting days. In 2009, he famously defeated David Haye, losing by majority decision to the UK. It was his last war, and he reformed politics to become a member of parliament in Putin's United Russia Party two years later. He has now confirmed that he has been called up to the army and is planning to enlist next week.
