* Niklas Sundin (born in Sweden on August 13, 1974) is a Swedish musician best known as the guitarist of bands Dark Tranquillity and Laethora. * He is one of only two members (the other being drummer Anders Jivarp) of Dark Tranquillity) to keep his role as guitarist, unlike some in the band who have changed jobs or are no longer a member. * He also wrote some of the lyrics for the first three and new two Dark Tranquillity albums (Lead's Mikael Stanne wrote all of Dark Tranquillity's songs, including Projector Through Fiction and In Flames' album The Jester Race), as Anders continued to improve in English.
