dankeschön berlin. as i said last night, in an era where everything has become mediated by digital controls, it feels more freeing than ever to stand bare in the organic essence of human connection. to be able to express myself solely through the raw acoustic body was liberating and soul-filling. speaking with many of you afterwards was another level of nourishing. being an artist these days can feel cold, confusing, and lonely. this experience was a major antidote to that alienation. thank you for coming last night and allowing this special transference to (hopefully) fill us both up. i can’t wait to do more. thank you also to the incredible oriel quartett for performing with me. and masnada_official for the custom dress. i am so full. dankeschön wien. what a special night, surrounded by the most lovely humans. i got to confront my fear of singing dead people’s songs, and share with you some beautiful string arrangements of my own music by jgthirlwell and lucideer. i also got to lose myself on the piano, something i typically only do at home. already looking forward to returning to this beautiful place and rich city. thank you for the opportunity morinmorinmorin ! and thank you so much to masnada_official for the custom dress for these shows. magical textiles. very excited to bring this performance to berlin tomorrow!
