Music career

While attending Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, she formed Living Praise, a vocal group, and began pursuing a career in music. Nicole was born in 1991 under the name Nicole, and she released Don't Let Me Go, her first solo album under the name Nicole. Tim Miner produced it. She continued her singing-songwriting-choreography career in the 1990s, appearing for Michael W. Smith and the Newsboys, writing for Jaci Velasquez, and performing as a dancer and choreographer with Amy Grant. Larry-Boy and the Fib From Outer Space provided her backup vocals for the music video at the end of the VeggieTales program, as well as the Fib from Outer Space. Larry-Boy and the Rumor Weed were present at the start of the VeggieTales presentation. In 1998, she was signed by A&R Brent Bourgeois, Vice President of Word Records. On April 15, 2008, her fourth album, Talk About It, was named gold for sales in excess of 500,000 copies.
