Renegade Nell (Disney+), a family-friendly romp that has been turned into an eight-part series with Disney's infinite budgets, is bursting with Wainwright's trademark wit and anti-authority swagger.

On Tuesday, Joely Richardson wowed in a glamorous red gown as she attended the star-studded premiere of Disney+'s Renegade Nell. In the pleated midi dress, the actress, 59, who appears as newspaper magnate Lady Eularia Moggerhange in the series, looked effortlessly chic. She teamed up with suede red heeled boots and gyming gold bangles, as well as a Hermes bag.

Tennant made his BAFTA debut this year, while Michael J Fox, who is living with Parkinson's disease, brought viewers to tears when he came out on stage in a wheelchair but kept on speaking at the podium. However, viewers were left'switching off' after Ted Lasso's Nick Mohammed irked spectators with a high voice, and a BBC reporter left Andrew Scott squirming when he asked him about Keoghan's naked scene at the end of Saltburn. Thankfully, Hannah Waddingham, a fellow Ted Lasso actor, wowed audiences with her touching interpretation of 'Time After Time' by Cyndi Lauper. Tennant, a Doctor Who actor, was a hit, with his constant enthusiasm and infectious humour, but the audience was stunned by his performance of Bark Ruffalo, a nifty reference.

BRIAN VINER: Every so often a film makes you laugh out loud, even before you've seen it, purely for the name. Who wouldn't flock to a second Shaun The Sheep caper, once they knew it was called Farmageddon (2019)?And now Aardman Animations has resurgent with their Chicken Run sequel, The Nugget's exquisitely named Dawn Of The Nugget. In 2000, Aardman's first full-length film was released. We quickly added a swarm of hens to our rural idyll as it happened that my family moved from London deep into the English countryside, where (as most townies relocating to the sticks). We encouraged the children to name them. To no surprise, they became Ginger, Babs, Bunty, and Mac after how much we all adored Chicken Run.

The highly awaited "Chicken Run" sequel, which is now available on Netflix, is over 23 years old. On September 5, Netflix announced a teaser trailer that brings back all the chicken and roosters for a new adventure. It's the sequel to the stop-motion animated 2000 classic "Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget." They're turning into a herd and going on the run to break out of a chicken farm rather than running out of a chicken farm. Netflix first announced the "Chicken Run" sequel back in June 2020, tweeting at the time, "POULTRY NEWS: Exactly 20 years to the day since the original was released, we can confirm there will be a Chicken Run sequel coming to Netflix!!"Aardman Animations is now at the helm (much like the first film), with producers Nick Park and Peter Lord back as executive producers. Sam Fell is the sequel's producer.

Since the streaming service sent out a cryptic tweet hinting at a spinoff, fans of the Emmy-winning AppleTV+ comedy 'Ted Lasso' are sharing their excitement. AppleTV+ posted a snapshot of characters and a strange caption on Tuesday, one week before the show's season three and possibly the series's conclusion. The service was broadcast with a snapshot of Nick Mohammed as Nate Shelley, Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent, and Brendan Hunt as Coach Beard.' Mohammed continued to quote the tweet and insert an emoji face with zipped lips. Many fans were outraged when it was announced that there would be a fourth season or a spin-off without Emmy winner Jason Sudeikis. 'Don't play with my feelings, that's not fair!' One Twitter user wrote a comment.

Maximilian Osinski makes a big splash in season three of "Ted Lasso" as Zava, a football superstar with a large ego but with a large heart to match. AFC Richmond has brought him back to prevent the team from being relegated and replaced by one-up West Ham, owned by the villainous Rupert (Anthony Head) and coached by Nate (Nick Mohammed). But what fans might not know is that Osinski is married to an actress who's making splashes on an Apple TV+ series of her own: Dichen Lachman, who appears on "Severance" in Ms. Casey. Ms. Casey of Lachman is a lamson company employee who, viewers will discover, is linked to a deep mystery that the corporation is hiding from Mark S (Adam Scott). Osinski and Lachman married in 2015 and shared a daughter the same year. Both actors have been active actors for a long time. In the short-lived but cult favourite series "Dollhouse;" and "Altered Carbon," Lachman, a Nepali Australian, has appeared on the hit Australian soap "Neighbours;" and "In Netflix's "Altered Carbon." She appeared in "Jurassic World Dominion" last year, and she is slated for 2024's "Kingdom of the Apes." Both Osinski, who was born in Austria, and Lachman appeared on ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.L.D."

Nate Shelley of AFC Richmond betrayed the team and moved to rival West Ham at the end of season two, but POPSUGAR's Nick Mohammed, who plays the character, says Nate's treacherey (and change) was certain ever since season one. "I think I was sent maybe the first three episodes of season one," he says, so he didn't know about the complete vision for the character when he was cast." But then, Mohammed learned about Nate's heel turn from creator and actress Jason Sudeikis, who arrived "quite early" in filming season one.

During his acceptance address at the Emmy Awards last night, Jesse Armstrong, 51, the British show Succession's creator, received backlash online after taking a "obscene" swipe at King Charles III. As he picked up the prize for Best Drama Series, the writer, who is best known for cult comedies such as 'The Thick of It' and 'Peep Show,' mused that it had been a "big week for successions." Armstrong later stated that there had been "a bit more voting involved" in Succession's victory over Emmy than King Charles' ascension to the throne, a remark that sparked a lot of skepticism on the internet. Several commentators criticized the ill-judged timing of his parody, while others slammed his'sleazy, snotty, and obscene' quips with the UK still in a national mourning period.

During his acceptance address at the 2022 Emmy Awards on Monday evening, Ted Lasso actor Brett Goldstein was barred from using profanity. On the Apple TV+ show, the 42-year-old actor received his second Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as potty mouth Roy Kent.

The power of believing! Ted Lasso has received a slew of Emmy nominations, it was announced on July 12th, ahead of the September event. In categories including outstanding comedy sequence and outstanding writing for a comedy series, the beloved Apple TV+ show's second season received 20 nominations. Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, Toheeb Jimoh, Juno Temple, Sarah Niles, and Nick Mohammed were all nominated for their roles in the acting categories. For their performances in season two, guest actors James Lance, Sam Richardson, and Harriet Walter were all given guest actor nods.
