After his parents announced their $150,000 bail last month, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Neil Ross ruled on Wednesday that Matthew Mahrer, 22, will continue to walk around the city. Mahrer, a felonious firearms owner, was arrested on November 19 along with Christopher Brown, 21, who were arrested with a slew of rifles and Nazi memorabilia. Authorities later revealed they had launched a "credible threat" at a string of synagogues in New York City. Mahrer should remain in jail, according to the district attorney's office, even after being arrested for the weapon he planned to use even after his detention. Ross, on the other hand, said he would walk freely as long as he continues to appear in court hearings.
