Natasha Turner (right) was injured by the dog and needed surgery to her foot (inset). She suffers from permanent nerve damage, which would necessitates another operation. Peacock, a disabled with multiple sclerosis, was sentenced to two years and six months in prison, and fined £228. Judge Richard Parkes has also banned Peacock from owning dogs.

She has been charged with one count of being in charge of a dangerously out of control dog. Miss Turner, the 69-year-old Crufts winner, has since been accused of seeking to buy Miss Turner's silence by showering her with gifts, including petrol money and a £300 phone bill.
