Naor Zion (born February 10, 1973) is an Israeli comedian, writer, and director.

Zion was the creator, head writer, and an actor for the Israeli sitcom television series "Naor's Friends."

Personal life

Naor Zion was born in the Iranian Jewish tradition. He grew up in Ramat HaSharon, Israel. When he was ten years old, his father died.

After Zion threw a garbage can and a plastic chair at a waitress in a restaurant, an Indictment was lodged against him for an attempted assault and malicious harm to property. According to the Magistrate's Court in Tel Aviv, a plea agreement between Zion and the State Attorney's Office will last 120 hours of community service and pay the waitress 3,000 shekels.

Zion also assaulted a press photographer in 2003 and threatened to sue him if he dared to photograph him. He assaulted a man in Ramat Aviv Mall in 2018, claiming that it was done in self-defense.

Naor Zion was born in Ramat Hasharon, Israel. Stood left early in his acting ability and was a good basketball player, and he also played until the 12th grade for the A.S. Ramat Hasharon basketball team, where he spent his time in the Israeli under 16 national team. He appeared in a stand-up talent competition on Channel 1's entertainment show in 1993 after his army service. On Israeli Channel 2, Zion appeared on a comedic show called "Naflu Al HaRosh" ("fell on their heads" in 1994. In a one-man exhibition that combined stand-up, sketches, and audience interaction, he appeared around the country. Laughouttire analysis of typical Israeli life, observations on the socioeconomic situation, family relationships, and other topics were included in the series. Zion developed a famous skit during his show in which he would dub a few segments from the series "Pinocchio" (which was a common 1980s children's cartoon in Israel) in a parodynical manner. Throughout seven years, his show was a hit.

Zion created a new stand-up show in 2001 that combined video segments that had been broadcast during the program on a large stage screen.

Zion also released a DVD with highlights from his stand-up performance in 2005.

Zion wrote, produced, and starred in the Israeli sitcom "Naor's Families" in 2006. The program aired between 2006 and 2011, which was a three-season series. The show set ratings for a scripted show on channel 10, and is regarded as the most profitable script presentation in the canal's history. The show returned for a fourth season in 2017.

Zion wrote, produced, and directed the Israeli sitcom "Amamiyot" in 2014.

Zion shared recurring motivations adapted from a reality television format in a video that he posted on the internet: "How much can you make?"
