Myo Ko Ko Ko San (born 1 September 1994) is a Burmese transgender activist and beauty pageant who was voted Miss International Queen Myanmar 2014 and represented Myanmar at the Miss International Queen 2014.

On June 19, 2018 she was awarded the ASEAN - LGBT Community Pride Awards.

Early life and education

Myo Ko Ko San was born in Mandalay, Myanmar, as a child on September 1st. She is the second child of three siblings, with a younger brother and an older brother. She experienced gender dysphoria from an early childhood and began her gender transition at the age of 15 when attending school. At the age of 23, she completed her sex reassignment surgery in Thailand. She obtained her diploma in civil engineering at Mandalay's Technological University.

Career

Miss International Queen Myanmar had been crowned as Miss International Queen Myanmar after appearing in the Miss International Queen 2014 pageant, and she went on to become a transgender model and actress.

Myo is supposed to be in the first Burmese transgender film. The film, which is still untitled, will portray a transgender person who advocates for her rights well into death.
