An anti-abortion activist who once had his home raided by the FBI is hoping to replace a former employee of the bureau in a hotly contested Pennsylvania primary election Tuesday. Mark Houck, an anti-abortion activist and founder of Catholic ministry The King's Men, is making a bid to become Pennsylvania's 1st Congressional District's next Republican nominee. Houck, who is running on the platform of 'Faith Family Freedom,' has been campaigning on his experience as the target of 'weaponization of the government.' He has frequently invoked how he was the victim of a 2022 FBI home raid where dozens of armed agents stormed his home with guns drawn at him and his family. Houck was later arrested by agents in front of his family. His crime, according to the FBI, was shoving a Planned Parenthood worker the year prior as he and his family were praying outside of the clinic. Houck, who claimed he was defending his young son at the time, was later acquitted of all wrong doing.

The former AFL commissioner and Geelong chief believes that the start date of the then-VFL should be extended to include the Victorian Football Association years dating back to 1870. In late 1896, eight clubs split away to form the VFL for the first time. Carter's argument would clearly change what matters most to all football fans - who has captured the premierships. Carlton and Essendon have 16 people, while Collingwood is one behind.
