Since initiating concussion procedures, Kansas City Chiefs safety Mike Edwards has been suspended for the remainder of their divisional playoff match against the Buffalo Bills. In the first minutes of the game, Edwards sustained the injury after a head-to-head collision with Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Edwards was unable to recover after the play was called out of the field before being led away from the field. The Chiefs announced that Edwards would be sidelined with a concussion after an examination.

Rev. Beatrix Weil (pictured left), the chaplain of Rhodes College in Memphis, is anordained minister of the Presbyterian Church. Rhodes, a private liberal arts college that has traditionally affiliated with the Presbyterian faith, is home to around 2,000 students. Weil works as a faith advisor for several faiths on campus. The chaplain, who hosts many events aimed at marrying faith with social and racial justice, was scheduled to attend the symposium, even releasing a fly for the BDSM-themed event.

Julian Ward of Liverpool has emerged as a leading contender for Ajax's sporting director. Ward resigned from his position with Liverpool at the end of this season, as he announced in November. And Marc Overmars is now being seriously considered by the Dutch champions to replace him.
