Since the MLS ended its probe into his suspected use of the N-word, DC United forward Taxi Fountas took to Instagram. Fountas can not be proved, according to the company, but it did claim the allegation was legitimate. Fountas reported on Instagram on Tuesday that he was 'I am able to announce (sic) that the investigation into the allegation of bigotry is complete and closed.'

In a tweet on Monday, Fountas said, "I did not use the word I am being accused of using incorrectly." That revolting racial insult is one I denounced and did not use. We had a tense discussion on the field, but I haven't racially insulted anyone.' I vehemently oppose bigotry of any kind. It's disgusting.'
