Variety announced on Friday that Grey's Anatomy had been revived for a twentieth season at ABC. The series, which will soon say goodbye to Dr. Maggie Pierce, has been the longest running primetime medical drama in television history during its run. Executive producer Meg Marinis would also be the showrunner of the forthcoming film, according to the magazine.

During their 11-season relationship together, the two actors, realizing the huge impact of their characters - Dr. Meredith Grey and Dr. Derek "McDreamy' Shepherd - had, seized the time and showcased their on-screen identities and chemistry. According to People, Dempsey grabbed a microphone from Yahoo's Kevin Plowly and then proceeded to play the role of journalist by asking Pompeo a series of questions.
