Michael Damian returned to The Young and the Restless to commemorate its 50th anniversary, just five months after, the actor is returning to Genoa City. Danny Romalotti, the fan favorite actor on the hit drama series, was announced on Tuesday on the CBS soap that he had signed on for a 'extended stay'. Damian will appear in a multi-episode storyline beginning on September 28, where he will reunite with co-stars such as Lauralee Bell (who plays Christine Romalotti) and Michelle Stafford (who portrays Phyllis Summers).
