Former CNN boss Jeff Zucker was confronted by CNN host Michael Smerconish in a discussion about media, with Smerconish advising him that it was 'partisan' not to give much air time to the matter involving Hunter Biden's laptop. At one point during the Hunter Biden controversy, Smerconish grilled the two former chiefs to ask if they're regretting' the coverage, or lack thereof. Despite not knowing all the truth, Smerconish said, "I believe that we looked partisan by not giving it some air," despite not knowing the truth,' to which Zucker replied, 'I don't disagree with that.' Zucker, who resigned from the network after his affair with staffer Allison Gollust was revealed, has seen a shift in staff at his former employer, Chris Licht. According to reports, Licht has been trying to steer the network away from opinions and more towards hard news.
