Michael Shrieve (born July 6, 1949) is an American drummer, percussionist, and composer. * He is best known as the drummer of Santana's first seven albums, from 1969 to 1974. Shrieve was the second youngest musician to perform at Woodstock in 1969, having turned 20 years old. * Even if he considers his drum solo during "Soul Sacrifice" at Tanglewood better, his drum solo during the Woodstock film has been described as "electrifying."
