Stephanie J. appeared alongside her. Cher's older versions of Block and Teal Wicks.

Early life and education

Diamond was born in Margate City, New Jersey, New Jersey. Karen Diamond, her mother, and her son, Karen Diamond, moved to New York City at the age of 11. Diamond attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School.

Diamond committed to studying musical theatre at Carnegie Mellon University in 2017. An agent noticed her appearance and signed her during her last high school production, Gypsy, in which she played Louise. She later auditioned for The Cher Show and secured the role just three days before she had intended to relocate to Carnegie Mellon to begin her freshman year.

Career

Diamond made her professional debut in the musical television special of Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert on NBC as a featured participant of the ensemble. Diamond was also the understudy for Sara Bareilles' character, Mary Magdalene.

In The Cher Show, Diamond introduced Babe, Cher's youngest version, around the age of 7-19. On June 28, 2018, the Cher Show opened its world premiere at the Oriental Theatre for the first time. Jarrod Spector, Teal Wicks, and Stephanie J. appeared alongside Diamond, Teal Wicks, and Stephanie J. Block. On July 14, 2018, the performances in Chicago came to an end. The show was then relegated to Broadway, with previews beginning on November 1, 2018 and opening night at the Neil Simon Theatre on December 3, 2018. Diamond appears on the musical cast album. Diamond was named a 2019 Theatre World Awards Honoree for her role as Babe in The Cher Show on June 9, 2019. At the Broadway World Theatre Fans' Choice Award for her appearance in The Cher Show, Diamond was selected for the Best Breakout Broadway Performance of the Decade.

In 2019, Diamond interpreted Lindy and Dorothy in Ethan Coen's A Play Is a Poem at the Los Angeles' Mark Taper Forum. The production ran from September 11 to October 19, 2020, and was expected to begin off-Broadway at the Atlantic Theater Company's Atlantic Stage 2 in New York City beginning May 14, 2020, but it was postponed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Young Tori and Amelia were included in the Williamstown Theatre Festival's world premiere production of Row, which opened on July 17, 2021. The musical, based on Tori Murden McClure's book A Pearl In The Storm, follows an individual who dreams of being the first woman to row solo across the Atlantic.

Diamond will perform Lucille Frank in Leo Frank's production of Parade in New York City Center on May 17, 2022. Since appearing in a workshop conducted by Roundabout Theatre Company in 2018, she was invited to appear in the gala production of the 2022/2023 season.
