Mel B has reportedly signed on to the new Netflix series Bear Hunt which will be fronted by Holly Willoughby and Bear Grylls. The Spice Girl, 48, is said to have agreed to a six-figure sum to appear on the gruelling endurance show, which will see stars forced to rely on their survival skills to elude master adventurer Bear. According to The Sun, Mel flew to Costa Rica this weekend to join the celebrity line-up as filming begins on the reality series, which is slated to premiere next year.

ALISON BOSHOFF: The idea was to tie the documentary to the 30th anniversary of the group being founded in 1994. However, although Victoria, Mel B, Mel C and Emma Bunton were all keen on the doc, after a number of meetings Geri Halliwell was still against the idea and they were not able to talk her round. This disagreement - certainly not the first in the group - created a little bit of frost between Ginger and the other girls.
