Last week, the musician, 72, filed a lawsuit against Investment Automotive Group, alleging that they promised to restore a vintage car for him but used the funds for personal use instead. He promised that Mercedes-Benz would restore a 1957 Mercedes-Benz roadster to like-new condition, but the car repair man refused to deliver. Arthur Siegle and his son, Stuart Siegle, in April 2021, were contacted by Weinberg about a car they were rebuilding. He made a $125,000 deposit and was scheduled to pay $225,000 in total for the 1957 Mercedes-Benz 190SL. Weinberg has stated that he has not returned his money and is suing Arthur, three of his relatives, and their company.
