Princess Anne (pictured left and right), 72, opted to wear her favorite Grima pearl earrings (pictured below), which were a gift from her parents in the 1960s and which she wore to her father's funeral in 2021, dressed in a smart black ensemble. Anne has also sported the coveted earrings during happier times, such as her marriage to Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence in 1992 (pictured top inset). He accompanied her in Edinburgh today. Anne wore the dresses on her first royal tour, when 19 and visiting Australia with her mother, as well as during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations this year. The earrings are a leaf design made by Andrew Grima, an Anglo-Italian jeweller.
