Bohannon was fired "for breaching the conditions, roles, and responsibilities expected of university employees," according to Alabama athletic director Greg Byrne.' The 47-year-old shot came three days after a study warning of suspicious bets prompted Ohio's top gambling authority to prohibit licensed sportsbooks from accepting bets on Alabama baseball games. Bets on Crimson Tide baseball have also been suspended in Pennsylvania, Indiana, and New Jersey.
