A top neurosurgeon, who has been left with a trembling hand after his snowmobile crash on a luxury holiday organised by British supercar brand McLaren, is suing for over £10million. Dr Andrew Cannestra, a spinal surgery specialist, suffered serious head injuries after losing control of a snowmobile during a couples' break in Lapland, booked through the Pure McLaren Arctic Experience. While on the £23,000 four-night holiday in 2020 the 53-year-old crashed into a tree going at around 40mph, causing him to lose consciousness and suffer a brain haemorrhage. Dr Cannestra is now suing McLaren Automotive Events Ltd for over £10m compensation, claiming he will be forced to retire from his £1.6m-a-year job in the next few years due to the impact of the head injuries he suffered in the crash.

When he arrived at City of London Magistrates' Court this afternoon, Jamie Acourt, 46, (left), covered his face with a scarf for his failure to repay £90,000 he earned from a £3 million drugs plot. He refused to answer questions regarding the assassination of 18-year-old Mr Lawrence (right), who was stabbed to death in Eltham, south-east London, 30 years ago, on April 22, 1993, and ran as he left the building. Acourt was one of five men detained.

Jamie Acourt, 46, who spent more than two years on the run in Spain under the alias Simon Alfonzo, will be released on November 3. He told a judge that he had been accepted a job with Precision Contractors, headed by Matthew Chapman's 'friend and builder,' Matthew Chapman, and that he will be aided outside by Terri Dean. Acourt was one of five men arrested in connection with the assassination of 18-year-old Stephen Lawrence, who was in jail for the murder of 18-year-old Stephen Lawrence, who was inset.
