Career

Lynes is best known for his appearance on All Saints, an Australian hospital drama. He attempted to become the Chief medical officer several times before, but didn't succeed. He was primarily a surgeon but he spent time in Ward 17. Rick Gallager has also worked in Sea Patrol, and he has played Rick Gallager. In Blue Water High, Lynes later played Coach Simmo, who ruled the surf academy Solar Blue for budding pro surfers. Lynes has appeared in the now defunct McLeod's Daughters as well as as the head of an advertising firm in the hit television show Packed to the Rafters.

Lynes appeared on Home and Away in 2012 as villain Adam Sharpe.

Post acting career

Lynes lives on the Central Coast of NSW and works as a Real Estate Agent for the company Property Central Long Jetty.

He was found guilty of sexual assault in August 2017. He was given a five-year custodial term.
