Julien's Auctions held their Friends 30th Anniversary Auction on Monday where a studio-made reproduction of the iconic couch from the opening credits sold for an eye-popping $29,250. The orange velvet sofa - which was initially estimated to fetch $2K-$3K - featured carved brown resin paneling lacquered to look wooden and copper-color tassels adorning the front skirt.

Friends creator Marta Kauffman has spoken out about Matthew Perry following the arrest of five people in connection to his accidental overdose death last October.  Perry, who was 54 at the time of his passing, was well-known for portraying the quirky, likable character Chandler Bing on Kauffman's wildly successful series. Speaking with The Times, the 67-year-old TV writer shared what she thinks is the best way to honor the late actor.

More than 52 million viewers tuned in to watch the series finale of Friends on May 6, 2004 and some of them may had already known what to expect. The show's creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane revealed on TODAY this morning that part of the final episodes' script had leaked before its premiere. 'Oh my god, we tried so hard to keep it a secret. We were desperate to keep it a secret and it got out. And it was it was an inside job,' said Kauffman. According to Crane, the scripts were numbered and sent out before the episode's premiere.
