On their way to Crathie Church in Balmoral to attend a Sunday service, the King and Queen Consort welcomed members of the public this morning. Although the vehicle passed through the Balmoral estate, King Charles, 73, seemed quite emotional as he waved at well-wishers from his Rolls Royce. Charles and Camilla, 75, were both attending church today for the second time since the Queen's seven-day period of private mourning came to an end on September 26th. For the outing, the monarch wore a tweed jacket and waistcoat, as well as a striped green, blue, black, and yellow tie. Compared to Queen Consort (pictured), she went for a green coat with red trim, completing her ensemble with a matching hat displaying a feather cockade.

Camilla, 75, will debut her eighth season of her renowned Royal Reading Room on October 14th and unveiled a diverse collection of books today. The Whalebone Theatre by Joanna Quinn, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, and City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert in conjunction with Bram Stoker's scary film The Whalebone Theatre.
