When Conor Benn prepares to sue British boxing chiefs, he insists he is not guilty of opioid use

www.dailymail.co.uk, February 25, 2023
Exclusive: Conor Benn is planning to sue the British boxing chiefs for over £3.5 million in damages after being advised by a boxing authority of a doping offence. Since his struggle with Chris Eubank Jnr was called off, Benn told The Mail on Sunday that the effort to prove his innocence of drug use has'killed' him emotionally. Since traces of a prohibited drug were found in his urine as part of a voluntary testing program, Benn is furious with the British Boxing Board of Control for failing to give him the opportunity to clarify his name. And if they failed a UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) test, he believes other fighters had a chance.
