However, midfielder Palacios will not be taking part in this summer's Copa America tournament following a truck crash while celebrating beating Velez Sarsfield to win the Argentine Primera Division final with his club.

As the fallout for Liverpool's wrongfully delayed goal drags on, it's unclear what will happen next. Luis Diaz thought he had put the Reds in the lead against Tottenham on Saturday, with Liverpool already down to ten men and goalless. However, both the on field officials and the VAR had the goal offside, despite replays clearly indicating that the Colombian was in an offside position. PGMOL released an apology after the game, blaming a human error that resulted in the incorrect result. Liverpool isn't content and believes the decision jeopardized sports credibility, triggering potential calls for the game to be replayed. Pep Guardiola has admitted that Kalvin Phillips' current'struggles' in Manchester City's system, but that the midfielder 'always wants to learn'.
