A "Long Beach, California, native" according to Life & Style, Ward married real estate agent Terry Baxter on October 21, 2006. The couple met on a set, and she credits their friendship and humor for the success of their relationship. After getting married, Baxter and Ward moved to New York, where they still live. While they were there, Ward studied writing and screenwriting at New York University.
Career
Jessica Forrester appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful from 1994 to 1996. She landed the role, which was her first acting job, when she was 16 and a freshman in high school. Ward appeared in USA High and the seventh season of ABC's Home Improvement, as well as co-starring Jay Thomas and Mario Lopez in the 1997 television film Killing Mr. Griffin.
Rachel McGuire's character appeared on Boy Meets World in 1998 as a main cast member. This role lasted until the series's conclusion in 2000. Ward appeared in the independent film Dish Dogs, a romantic drama in which she co-stars Brian Dennehy, Matthew Lillard, and Sean Astin, following Ward's stint on Boy Meets World. She appeared in the 2004 comedy film White Chicks with Shawn and Marlon Wayans.
Ward, who resigned from mainstream acting, began participating in cosplay and attending various comics conventions. Her first cosplay was a slave princess wearing a white dress; photographers gave her the impression that she had worked with on the red carpet. Jessica 6 from Logan's Run and Red Sonja were both released as Jessica 6 from Logan's Run and Red Sonja. In recent years, she has also appeared in comics-conventions wearing only body paint.
Ward began posting nude and topless photos of herself on Snapchat and Instagram in mid-2013, gaining a large fanbase on both websites. She posted her first nude photos of her being body painted for Luciano Paesani in April 2016 for a Los Angeles exhibition titled "Life Art" on social media. In 2019, she announced on Instagram that she would be filming "Drive," a move that In Touch Weekly characterized as a "great career shift." Former Boy Meets World co-star Trina McGee helped Ward Ward.
Ward joined the Society of Human Rights in May 2019. She said she had been approached by adult actor and producer Kayden Kross and was "completely stunned" by the prospect of doing adult films. "It's been a change," she told In Touch Weekly, "It's been an evolution." Because everything that I've done along the way is something I want to explore and do, it's all been my authentic journey. "I just did it for my followers, that is the exhibitionist style of me." On September 30, 2019, the drive was announced online at Deeper.com.
Ward expressed her dissatisfaction with her decision, saying that she feared being typecast and hoped that if she were to become a porn actress, new fans would have the opportunity to find her. Ward promised "more taboo stuff to come" after Drive's demise, and she performed in a slew of porn scenes on Deeper.com. She has stated that she did not believe in any stigma associated with being a porn actress. On the other hand, she viewed her move into adult films as a smart business move.
