Life and career
Afshar was born in Tehran, Iran. She earned a degree in natural science in high school. One of her relatives who was the Theater Affairs Assistant in "Soureh" college referred her to the "Hannaneh" Art Institute after graduation. She spent time in the following years studying video versions of "Kete Avval" as a Golddigger" training course directed by Dariush Mehrjui.
Later on, Shamsi Fazlohi invited her to star in a TV series called Gomshodeh (Lost), directed by Masoud Navaii, marking her first official appearance in the television industry. Abdollah Eskandari's film "Doostam" (Mates) continued her career. The film, on the other hand, was not released in movie theaters due to delays with the authorities over the film's plot and morals.
Her first public appearance in the cinema industry came in the form of "Shour-e Eshgh" (Passion of Love), which received rave reviews from fans and observers. She gained notoriety for her appearance in "Atash-bas" (Ceasefire), a big hit), and "Salad-e Fasl" (Season Salad).
Afshar is one of the judges of Persia's Got Talent, a part of the British talent competition show Got Talent, which airs on MBC Persia.
Afshar announced on Twitter in October that she and Yasin Ramin had divorced. "Each person, whether you're a genius or not, has a existence.' However, if you want to be a single mother, you'll have to have two lives. You have to be strong for yourself and your child." Afshar participated in an anti-Islamic Republic protest in Germany in October 2022, but protesters threatened to leave the field because of her former links with Iran's regime.
