According to researchers from the University of California Los Angeles, overdoses caused by mixed fentanyl and stimulants including cocaine and methamphetamine have increased by 50% in less than a decade. According to the researchers, the number of opioid overdoses that required both fentanyl and a stimulant increased from less than 1% in 2010 to almost a third by 2021.
