Dr. William Sharkey, 38, told students and colleagues at Bryanston School in Dorset that he had been shot twice while doing a classified mission for Britain's special forces. After being caught talking to a female pupil in his room and sharing 'over familiar' information with the vulnerable sixth former, he was suspended from his job at the £43,350-permansion board school later. After it was revealed that he had lied about serving in the SAS since university, the religious studies professor has been barred from classrooms indefinitely. Dr Sharkey was found to have continued the lie out of habit while attending the Dorset boarding school, which also includes scouts founder Lord Baden Powell as one of the school's former students.
