It is a neighbourly row of epic proportions. But it seemingly boils down to just one thing: Who can build the tallest mansion on millionaire's row. The extraordinary dispute began when John and Deborah Yeoman bought a traditional £1.7million home overlooking the exclusive Sandbanks peninsula in Dorset in 2001 - only to demolish it. In its place, they constructed a luxurious three-storey house with an indoor pool, today worth £8.8million. But then businessman Jeremy Gardner, who owned a lucrative consultancy firm, purchased the relatively modest detached property next door for £2.8million in 2015.

A RE teacher who mistakenly claimed that he was an SAS hero is barred from teaching classes

Since his 'bullet wounds' were revealed as an old jogging injury, an RE teacher who boasted about being a SAS war hero has been barred from the classroom. Dr. William Sharkey, 38, told students and colleagues at Bryanston School in Dorset that he had been shot twice while doing a classified mission for Britain's special forces. After being caught talking to a female pupil in his room and sharing 'over familiar' information with the vulnerable sixth former, he was suspended from his job at the £43,350-permansion board school later. After it was revealed that he had lied about serving in the SAS since university, the religious studies professor has been barred from classrooms indefinitely. Dr Sharkey was found to have continued the lie out of habit while attending the Dorset boarding school, which also includes scouts founder Lord Baden Powell as one of the school's former students.
