The singer-songwriter, 56, appeared on Instagram for the first time on Monday, demanding that the outlet be chastised for misreporting the attendance in their review of the performance. Spunky Songs Of Sadness by Lily Konigsberg

www.mtv.com, October 29, 2021
By Ted Davis If you're into underground rock music, there's a good chance you've at least heard the term Palberta. For ten years, the New York City band struggled to carve a niche for themselves in the Indie scene, showcasing an angular, sludgy sound that falls somewhere between The Raincoats and Palm. Lily Konigsberg, a quirky songwriter whose enthusiasm and charisma carry the show's distinct demeanor, stands at its front. Palberta's work is minimal and lo-fi, but Konigsberg's tenacious musicianship and spunky vocals made them one of the Northeast's most popular and playfully weird outfits to emerge from the region's burgeoning punk scene.
