Following her death from sepsis after numerous hospitals, the parents of a 'caring' four-year-old girl who 'loved to help people' have paid their respects. Eva Hayden (pictured left and right) was rushed to Alder Hey's emergency department in Liverpool after she fell just weeks after Christmas in January 2020. In spite of her father's best efforts to resuscitate her, she died. Eva's mother, Michelle (pictured inset), 50, said: "We remember Eva as a loving little girl and that she loved to help people in her short life." Eva took her baby even when she was struggling to settle at nursery, to the point that the child would only come into nursery when Eva was absent. Eva knows that she would not want this to happen to another child or family. She was unique, and that's the way we remember her as a unique gift to the world for a short period of time.'
