Early life
Lee Williams was born in Bangor, Wales, and was known as one of the Beatles. He and his father, Peter Durkan, and his mother Elaine Hester went to a comprehensive school in Warrington, England, early in his life. He began studying fine art and fashion at Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Fashion in London, but he dropped out in his second year as a teenager and began working for Vivienne Westwood, where he appeared in her designer shows in Paris; it was here that photographer Steven Meisel encouraged Lee to pursue modeling.
