Early life and education
Bush was born in Denver, Colorado, on June 25, 1984, and he was raised in Houston, Texas. She and her sister Ashley and brother Pierce attended The Kinkaid School in Houston, as did her sister Ashley and brother Pierce. She interned for the NBC television show Friends in Kinkaid during her senior year. She made her formal debut in a Dior haute couture gown at le Bal des débutantes in Paris, France, in 2000.
Bush studied fashion design at BEBE and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, and received a B.A. from Princeton University in 2006. I have a degree in Anthropology and a photography degree. She was a member of The Ivy Club, one of Princeton's eleven dining clubs.

In 2004, Bush began dating David Lauren, the son of fashion designer Ralph Lauren. The two married in Colorado on September 4, 2011. James Richard Lauren, the family's first son, was born on November 21, 2015. Max Walker Laurence, the couple's second son, was born on April 19, 2018, only days after Barbara Bush died. Robert Rocky Lauren, the couple's third son, was born on April 10, 2021.
Career
Prior to launching FEED, Bush was signed with Elite Model Management. She has appeared on the covers of Vogue and Vanity Fair, as well as for Abercrombie & Fitch and designers Gai Mattiolo and Isaac Mizrahi, as well as for Tommy Hilfiger. Bush served as an intern on the television sitcom Friends, making a cameo in one episode, and with designer Zac Posen, Ashley Olsen, Bush worked alongside Ashley Olsen. Bush served as a student ambassador for the World Food Program in Chad in 2005.
Lauren founded FEED Projects, a social enterprise that fights world hunger for the UN World Food Programme in 2007.
On September 11, 2008, Bush relaunched her fashion line under the name "Lauren Pierce." Bush said in November 2008 that she preferred Pierce, her middle name rather than her last name for the line of her line. "Obviously my last name is linked to politics," Bush said as he began.
